BBA Ireland has been in the bloodstock
business since
1956.

Founded by the late Tom Cooper, his vision of integrity and service to clients holds through to the present day. Established for a different era, the principles remain the same.

We have been purchasing, shipping and insuring horses under one roof since Eisenhower was in the White House, Anthony Eden in Number 10, and before Lester Piggott won his first Derby on Never Say Die.

Based in true horse country, a stone’s throw from The Curragh, we are an integral part of Ireland’s great association with the breeding and exporting of the finest thoroughbred horses.

Advice

We can advise you on your purchases either for racing or breeding.

Plan and Book Nominations

We can help you plan and book nominations for your mares. We can offer expert advice on the most suitable stallion for your mare and contact the studs to book your mare to the horse of your choice.

Manage

We can manage your interest. We either charge commission or a yearly management fee depending on the size of the task or the amount of time taken up.

We have representatives at nearly all major auctions worldwide and can inspect and advise you on potential purchases. Due to the diversity of information flowing back to us as our representatives travel the world, we are uniquely placed to custom your needs to your geographic location.

Help Plan Your Visits

We can help you plan your visits to the great farms and racecourses of the world. This is a sport and we believe it is to be enjoyed, so it is our job to make your time spent with these graceful animals as pleasurable as possible.
