A graduate of the Irish National Stud Course, Adam has a BSc in Economics and Finance from Queen’s University Belfast. Adam has combined his bloodstock interests whilst working in training yards, including Emmet Mullins and most recently Ken Condon. He has also written for bloodstock publications European Bloodstock News, Thoroughbred Stallion Guide and International Thoroughbred, and previously worked for the Racing Post.

His first purchase was at the age of 16 when Noble Emperor was sourced for €6,000 before winning on debut before selling to JP McManus and going on to graded success. Since then, Adam has purchased multiple stakes horses including Group 1 Irish Oaks placed Purple Lily, bought for €17,500 as a foal, and the Kerry and Munster National winner Cabaret Queen, winner of over €200,000 and bought for just £13,000. Adam also teamed up with Donovan Bloodstock to purchase yearlings for the breeze-up market, where they outperformed the market to post some especially profitable pinhooks from small numbers.

Adam joined us in the summer of 2024 and attends all major bloodstock sales in Europe and the USA.
